New asphalt in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

The Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana say they have completed the new plan for repaving and improvement to 101,710 m2 spread over 32 roads in the municipality, with an investment of €909,125.50 .

Re-asphalting works have been carried out in El Tablero, Sonnenland, Playa del Inglés, San Fernando, San Agustín and Bellavista, including resurfacing of the entire Avenida de Tirajana, the main arterial route through the tourist area. Several sections of the Fataga road and Lomo Perera, access to Calderín and Lomo Los Azules from the highway tunnel along with three sections of the GC-503 from the Health Centre to the ascent to La Montaña have all seen vital resurfacing work in recent weeks.

The Municipal Council has included also the elevation of several pedestrian crossings to reduce the speed of vehicles, improved the road signage and resealed  sewage access lids.

Great work SBT, maintaining the roads is key to resident and tourist happiness.  Makes everything feel fresh and cared for again…
