Light rain possible on Saturday afternoon

Satellite   The Canary Islands are expecting light showers, occasional and weak, on Saturday, mainly on the north of the islands, according to the forecast from the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

In the province of Las Palmas today indications suggest that Gran Canaria will become increasingly cloudy through the afternoon with occasional light rain, especially in the north, with a chance of more intense showers scattered across random areas.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, it is also expected to be partly cloudy in increasing through the afternoon with occasional light rain likely.

Winds will be northerly and loose, more intense on the east and west sides of the islands; in the south will be light variable breezes.  In central peaks, north-westerly wind of between 20 and 25 km / h.

Temperatures will see little change, in Las Palmas expected to be between 20º and 25ºC .
