This network encompasses places of great natural beauty with real personality as well as historical and cultural attractions, villas marked by tradition through which travellers can enjoy walking their paths and mingling with the locals.

The Most Beautiful Villages in Spain brand is a reference of prestige and quality nationally and internationally. The initiative is based on the French model Les Plus Beaux Villages and follows the path of the numerous networks that already operate in other countries around the world, such as Italy, Japan or Canada.

The Association was created in Spain in 2011 and was presented two years later with a network of 14 villages. Progressively, the list has been increasing to the 68 current locations.
