It’s a long weekend ahead for many on Gran Canaria, with the National Day falling on a Thursday many will have taken the Friday off as well to get a long “puente” bridge weekend.

Many in the English speaking community will be donning their training shoes to join in with the big charity fund raising weekend and the Walk against Cancer, Caminata contra El Cancer.
