From 09:30 to 14:00 on Calle Explanada del Castillete.

Local farmers will be selling mangoes, avocados, as well as other local products papayas, pitayas, prickly pears, and figs, among others. There will also be local artisans, live music, and a food stall area.

“This will also mean traffic and parking restrictions in the area.”

Once again, this agricultural fair comes to the municipality with handcrafted products and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, with mangoes and avocados being the main attractions. In total, 4,000 kilos of mangoes and 1,000 kilos of avocados will be on sale so that visitors can taste these delicacies.
Mangoes of various varieties, such as Osteen, Keitt, and Valencia Pride, will be available at the municipality’s 15 farmers’ stands.
Regarding avocados, although in smaller quantities, well-known varieties such as the “del país” (country avocado) or the “summer” variety of the Antillean variety, which are deeply rooted in the municipality, will be offered. This lower production is due to factors such as climate change and the natural harvest cycle. Despite the lower availability at the fair, prices will be lower than those in supermarkets.
This agricultural fair showcases the diversity of local products, featuring this year’s sales of guanábana (soursop), pitaya, red passion fruit, papaya, and up to 500 kilos of tropical pineapple, among others.
On the other hand, there will be nine stalls selling prepared products, where you can buy bread, honey, jam, and cheese, as well as twenty stalls selling handicrafts from Gran Canaria. In the gastronomic section, twelve food stalls will be participating, offering their best recipes in the form of pinchos, juices, ice cream, desserts, and more, all made with the ingredients of the day: mango and avocado. The morning will also be livened up by Mariachi Peleón, Yamilei Cruz, and Parranda El Mejunje.

Four parking spaces have been set up, located before the port area, so you can get there safely, in addition to having the option of public transportation.
