The largest photovoltaic facility to have been built on Gran Canaria will be operational by March of 2018 say the Cabildo, and will prevent more than 320 tons of CO2 from being discharged into the atmosphere. The City of San Bartolomé de Tirajana has begun "integral improvements" to the Municipal Kennel located in Tarajea, having authorised a first phase investment of €18,000.
