The Canary Guide weekend Tips 9-11 February 2018
A peculiar weekend ahead with unpredictable weather facing Gran Canaria several planned events have been rescheduled. Let’s hope for the best… but just in case it is certainly a good idea to double check just before heading to any event planned for the outdoors.
The Almond blossom festival in Tejeda already rescheduled once for this weekend, after adverse weather on the mountain caused delays, has been postponed once again but this time there is no confirmed date that they will try again. Las Palmas Carnival has experienced multiple changes to their program too. As you can probably tell, bad weather and Gran Canaria do not go together well…

This gorgeous mountainside market will be enlivened with traditional folk music groups singing and dancing.
A lovely car ride indeed to go to see some of the most impossibly beautiful places on Gran Canaria. Well worth a trip up to the summits if the weather permits!
