The Global Bus company have announced that their alternative routes will be as follows:
Arguineguín – Puerto Rico: Once at the Arguineguín stop (14001), a change of direction is made at the Cola de Ballena (Whale´s Tale) roundabout, going back to take the GC-1, from where they will go to the preferred stops in Puerto Rico, from where the usual route will continue.
The out of service stops will be : Sunwing (15011), Patalavaca (15001), Aguamarina (16041), Barranco Balito (16031), Barranco Agua La Perra (16021).
Puerto Rico – Arguineguín: Once at the Patalavaca stop (15002), buses will be diverted along Avenida de Los Guaires, as per the map below. The route will be marked with GLOBAL directional arrows.
The travellers heading from Arguineguín towards the out of service stops, must get off in Puerto Rico and change to the opposite direction for the bus going back to Arguineguín, until arriving at their preferred destination. They can travel for free as long as they show the correctly validated ticket.
Travellers wishing to get on at the out of service stops, between Balito and Patalavaca, heading for Puerto Rico, Playa del Cura, Taurito, Puerto de Mogán, etc., must take a bus in the opposite direction, heading to Arguineguín (stop 14001), from where you can change to the bus that will take them via the GC-1 to their final destination. These travellers can also travel for free to Arguineguín.
