Three days filled with music are being planned for the first ‘Maspalomas Music Festival’, in the beautiful southern urban park ‘Parque Sur‘ in the municipality San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
Over the weekend of 11-13 of August, there will be free concerts with music of various styles for all types of audiences, as well as a family day scheduled for the last day of the event.
Parque Sur, covering an area of more than 6,000 square meters, with gardens and an amphitheatre (where the concerts will be held) with a capacity of 4,500 people, is an ideal setting for a festival of this nature.
Musicians from three continents (Europe, America and Africa) with styles as varied as pop, rock, cumbia, chamambé or electronic music are booked to play. For Sunday August 13 a concert is being programmed in which various acts and activities are alternated for the little ones, so that families can enjoy a lovely afternoon in the park. During the festival there will also be a restoration area with food and drink, to accompany the music.
Artists such as Gaspard Royant (France), Juan Zelada (Spain), LA Yegros (Argentina), Skip & Die (South Africa / Holland) and Mastretta (Spain) are part of a poster that also includes Canarian voices like Mondo Diávolo, Raw103, Chocolate Sexy, Aiba, Purple Eyes and Zeason.
Friday and Saturday, from 18:00-01:00 and on Sunday from 18:00-22:00
