The picturesque mountain village of Valsequillo, famous usually for their strawberries, cheeses and almond blossoms, will this week host, from August 30 to September 4, the 11th edition of the International Festival of Clowns “3 days of Farándula 2017”.
The program of this extraordinary event includes numerous internationally renowned performance artists. More than twenty from the Canary Islands, Jaén, Catalonia, Madrid, Italy, Argentina, Ireland, Mexico and Switzerland, will perform in the municipality for the event that goes out of its way to prove that laughter has no borders.
Outdoor shows, laughter and good humour are the basis of an extensive program designed to for family enjoyment in this rural village which now once a year becomes the most unlikely venue for this international theatre-clown festival.
Definitely worth a drive up from Telde along the GC 41!
