The Colombian flagship Gloria , known as that country’s ‘floating ambassador in the seas of the world’, visits the Las Palmas Port of La Luz this weekend.
This morning, Saturday at 9.00 am she was received at the Santa Catalina Pier by the Colombian ambassador to Spain, Alberto Furmanski, while the crew sang the country’s national anthem from the masts.
On Sunday the tall ship will open to the public from 9 am to 1 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm. The crew will offer visitors a tour and give them a folk show.
