The shopping centre in San Agustín is to have a new exit towards the GC500 (Avenida de la Unión Europea). It’s opening is planned to relieve the traffic jams that occur around this urban environment in calle Los Cardones, calle Las Dalias and cale Tabaibas, especially during the weekends and holiday periods.
The opening of the new link road with the old general road is to be built at the final section of Calle Las Dalias, near the car parking area on Las Tabaibas, at the back of Hotel Don Gregory.
The project is being financed by the Urban Development Rehabilitation Consortium of San Agustín, Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas, which was launched by public tender last Monday.
The cost of construction work for this important access road has been budgeted at €199,506.48, and it is estimated that once initiated, the work should not exceed four months before completion.
