Gran Canaria Weather: Autumnal cloud with possibility of weak showers

According to the forecast from the Spanish State Meteorological Agency AEMET, we can expect cloudy intervals in general this Friday on Gran Canaria, tending towards more cloud inland as the day wears on. Temperatures with few changes, around the seasonal norms, with lows of about 16ºC and highs of up to 23ºC in the shade. Variable winds and breezes, prevailing from the north.

Saturday too looks likely to start cloudy particularly in the north and northeast, with weak rains possible during the first half of the day, which could be locally moderate rainfall in some areas, giving way in the afternoon to clearer skies. Elsewhere, cloudy intervals, with a low probability of occasional and weak rains during the afternoon, mainly in the interior. Minimum temperatures rising slightly; though maximums may see a slight decline. Loose north winds that will intensify as they move to blow from the northeast in the afternoon.

On Sunday a predominance of cloudy skies to the north of the island with the probability of generally weak rains, mainly during the first half of the day.  Temperatures staying about the same or rising slightly. Northeast winds,  strong at intervals on the northwest and southeast slopes.

As we head into next week cloudy skies to the north of the island are expected and will tend toward diminishing clouds. Elsewhere a little cloudy or clear, with a low probability of weak and occasional rains to the north in the early hours of Monday. Temperatures decreasing slightly. Northeast winds that could well be strong on the northwest and southeast slopes.
